On July 9 and 10, 2019 the AmBIENCe – Actively managed Buildings with Energy Performance Contracting – project consortium hosted the kick-off meeting in Brussels (Belgium).

The main goal of the first physical meeting was to engage the consortium in discussion regarding the status of ongoing work, as well as to delineate the methodology to be followed.

The agenda consisted of work package presentations and Q&A sessions, during which, for each of the task, subtasks, milestones, risks and dependencies were analysed and discussed.

The consortium decided to organise the several thematic workshops that will occur throughout the project, aiming at disseminating project results and collecting input from experts in relevant fields.

The AmBIENCe project officially started in June 2019. The kick-off meeting was the beginning of a 30-month journey carried out by the seven partners, representing five different countries, and funded by the European Commission under the H2020 programme.
