We have just released the Deliverable D2.3 – Business Models for the Active Building EPC Concept.

This deliverable presents the Business model for Active building Energy Performance Contracting (AEPC), building on the existing business model for Energy Performance Contracting (EPC). This new business model is focused on the integration of flexibility in buildings into the AEPC model and follows a structured approach:

  • Summary of the AEPC concept;
  • Definition and analysis of the eco-system of stakeholders that are directly or indirectly involved in the AEPC model;
  • Definition of several variations of the business model;
  • Development of an Economic and Financial Calculations Module (E&CFM);
  • Evaluation of the business case based on the example of a single-family poorly insulated residential home.
